My name is Denise Stephens. I have many titles that I identify with. I am a physical therapist, a writer and teacher of Bible studies, and a speaker for the name of Jesus. I am a wife to George and a mother to three grown children. I am a runner and a hiker. But all of these titles fall under and are superseded by this: I am a follower of Jesus, I am a daughter to the King, I am a citizen of God’s Kingdom.
My desire in life is to know God more fully so that I can worship Him more rightly and reflect His goodness outward to those around me. My journey with God is a messy, a beautiful work in progress. I have seen the ways that God has changed me and look forward to all that He will do in me. Philippians 1:6 promises that He who started a good work in you will carry it onto completion at the day of Jesus Christ. That is an amazing promise that I hold on to.
This blog is where I hope to write about some of the everyday moments where I see and experience God transforming me and it is an invitation for you to join me on this journey.
